BMKG Forecasts Rainy Afternoon in Most of Jakarta

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta – The Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) forecasts rainfall in varying intensity in most of Jakarta on Thursday afternoon, November 7, 2024, except for an overcast Thousand Islands. 

In the morning, Jakarta will experience cloudy and overcast weather except for the Thousand Islands, which will be hit by rain showers. 

In the afternoon, a drizzle will sweep Central, North, and West Jakarta, while rain showers pour over South and East Jakarta. Meanwhile, BMKG forecasts cloudy weather in the Thousand Islands.

In the evening, South and East Jakarta will potentially be moistened by light rain, while the rest, except for an overcast West Jakarta, will be cloudy. 

In the early hours of Friday morning, all of Jakarta will be overcast except for a drizzly Thousand Islands. 

BMKG predicts that the air temperature in Jakarta will range from 23 to 31 degrees Celsius, with air humidity ranging from 80 to 95 percent. Meanwhile, the winds will blow from the east to the south at 2–8 km/h speed.
