TEMPO.CO, JakartaTasteAtlas, a global food-hunting site, released its annual ranking of the best cuisines, which evaluated 50 food items based on 395,205 (271,819 valid) dish ratings and 115,660 (80,863 valid) food product ratings recorded. 

As food is universally known to be essential to the functioning of the human body, this list has caught the attention of seasoned travelers looking for countries to explore. 

Top-rated countries include Italy, Japan, and Greece, where dining options are endless and thoroughly celebrated by locals and tourists alike. Here’s a snapshot of the top 10 rankings. 

1. Italian Cuisine – 4,65/5.0 Stars

Italy has the best cuisine in the world, with highly-rated dishes ranging from the famous pizza to the tasteful bruschetta. The flavors of Italy are wonderfully crafted by myriad combinations of ingredients like olive oil, tomatoes, garlic, and cheese, which serve as compelling plates for any occasion in the country.

2. Japanese Cuisine – 4,65/5.0 Stars
