MISS GLOBAL AFRICA

BACKGROUND

Miss Global Africa is a beauty pageant borne out of the need to bridge the gap between African nations. It is a concept fashioned after the celebration of unique beauty of African maidens with a view to showcasing our culture, custom and multi ethnicity. The pageant will bring together leggy beauty Queens from African countries with the aim of crowning a continental female youth ambassador. The debut edition which holds in 2013 is the brain child of Miss Global Nigeria, an annual beauty pageant project from the stable of a PR outfit, Pun Communications Limited. Miss Global Africa by projection promises to be the continent`s biggest pageant with an ultimate goal of using BEAUTY & CULTURE as tools for universal amity .

The team at Pun Communications Limited are tested and trusted professionals drawn from related fields including Public Relations, media, events management. The outfit prides itself as an A-list PR and events company of choice with credits in publishing, entertainment and pageantry. It hosts the annual Miss Global Nigeria pageant, Nigeria Financial Institutions Awards, Enquirer magazine publishers et al.

THE PROJECT'S CONCEPT
Franchisees shall be sought across African countries with the aim of choosing beauty representatives for the grand finale.
The event`s grand finale shall be rotational amongst African nations.
Special attention shall be on culture, custom and tourism potentials in each of the hosting territories  for contents and international interest.
The overall winner as the African beauty ambassador shall be seen as a tool for universal amity via a pet project.
 
 
THE SHOW
The grand finale of the show which is meant to be rotational annually holds at an international standard event center.
Contestants from across the continent will be in camp for a week with a view to grooming them for the finals.
During the 1-week camping, Contestants will be evicted by popular demand via a well scripted reality TV show that will be shown on TV every other day.
A-list celebrities, captains of industry and upwardly mobile business executives drawn across African countries are expected to witness the event.
